The aim for Deadly Flowers is to create individual fashion and accessories for people who treasure handmade products. As a tailor and florist Deadly Flowers offers a wonderful field to combine these passions of mine.
All of the products are completely or at least partly handcrafted by myself with the utmost love and care for the detail. They are basically strictly limited editions or even one of a kind.
It is very important for me to provide customers with high-grade products, hence only quality and also ecologically beneficial materials are used, for example organic cotton and recycled fabrics.
Deadly Flowers products meet a variety of tastes, from elegant to freaky, from nostalgic to futurist. My roots lie in the New Romantics and Wave era of the 1980ies, though I´m also highly influenced by the Baroque period, Victorian style, Belle Epoque, and Art Nouveau. Inspiration also comes from art, literature, film and music.
The Cybermoth collection uses classic cyber style adding a touch of Science Fiction elements. There are also some pieces of the Un-Modern collection available, which are also related to the 1980ies' style.
My fascination for flowers shows in the products, many of them are adorned with floral patterns or flowers made of different fabrics. Quite romantic, isn't it?
